I realized that there are only a few of articles in the newspaper mention about elderly care. Most of it focus on politics, children, entertainments and etc.
Here are some other articles found but not suitable for my topic which is about elderly's travelling.

About PRESENTATION

10 points in making a good presentation
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

10-20-30 rule-this is a slide show guide introduced by Guy Kawasaki which a good slides should not be more than 10 slides,20 minutes and font which smaller than 30 pt.

Entertaining- catch people attention

Eye contact-always make sure the audiences are with you

Never ever read your slide- By doing that is boring people and you are only telling the meaning shown on words

Use voice effectively- Avoid monotone. Try animated voice when necessary .Speak out clearly

Focus more on body language- NEVER plan gesture. It looks false

Tell story-description and theory bored people

Always end early-Respect audiences’ time. If you are given 20minutes, end it at about     15minutes.Try to make your presentation short and sweet at the same time

 Practice more

Public-Focus on audiences’ needs.

Good example

JULIA SWEENEY- THE TALK

The talk is about sex education for children.Julia's told us the importance of answering children's doubt about sex properly and the effects of false education.
She got the audiences understood he talk without slides and word typed.
The talk is simply entertaining, educating, and short.
I did not get any of the point of this presentation when I was listening.I was too attracted by the story she told. However, I got it all right after the talk is over.

Getting down from HDB

Wait for traffic

Walking in the crowd

Thanks to Joven, one of the member of this group in volunteering himself to experience this role play session.
Only a walking stick is used in this session as we assume our persona is too poor to own a wheelchair. Joven had no accompany as he supposed to be a retired soldier who lives alone but with pride.

Reflection:
1.DANGEROUS- there are a lots of stair cases to be climbed through out the trip.

-there are a lots of traffic junction in the city.

-all places are crowded and the public werenot aware of person with disability.

2.EMBARRASSING- he was walking quite slow and blocking the way of people in urge.

-some public were disgusted with him.

-he does not own a senior citizen's ez-link which can be used to extend road crossing time.
 -he blocked traffic.

3.TIRING- it took us so much time to finish this trip compared to usual.
-7 minutes in usual became 45 minutes
-road surfaces are made up by different texture which are not easy to walk on
