By
combining the features of 2 solutions , a new mobility aid is
invented. The wheelchair with magnetic levitation is eventually eliminated based on high technology used
cost a lot and not easy in maintenance.
Features of the newly invented mobility aid:
1. Hand
grip’s material is cool gel to defeat sweaty palm and prevent slippery.
2.Global Positioning System is used to direct way.
3. Round
bottom design encourage smooth walking and does not stuck in drain’s cap.
4. Surface made of reinforced tyre texture.
5. Paddle
can be used to lift up foot on to another platform.
5. Light.
6. Low
cost.
7. Easy
to operate.
The
new mobility aid introduced is named Independent Stick as the intention of
designing this tool is to encourage elderly to step out in this crowded city
and move around independently.
